I am new around here and hope gun talk is OK. Gubberment knows about mine anyway. Last I checked they were still legal. I run 300-500 a week thru pistols and a couple of bricks of .22 a month and would like to shoot more.
I actually did a web search today on building a residential indoor range. Need to hit the lottery first or get me sum Obama money.
Tonight shot 1st time Beretta PX4 Storm 9mm type F. Loved it!

I'm ok with standard Glock sights but like the dude says you can prolly aquire a target a bit quicker with those. If their good and fit my 21,22,and 23 I may go for it.

You are still getting more range time than I am at the moment, I have been focusing on my archery more as of late. But then again, my firearms and such are more for an SHTF kinda situation and I hunt with a bow. Always have, idk why. It might have something to do with my heritage and respect for nature.......any Richy Rich can buy the newest black rifle with all of the tacticool accessories and take a white tail at 100 yards, it takes skill and stealth to be able to put yourself in a position to essentially throw a stick at an animal at 20 feet and put it down cleanly and humanely. Sorry, I know this wasn't a hunting thread.... so yea.... if you like the new Glock sights, roll with 'em. Pistols are meant to be a close range weapon so I have never really thought about sight profiles on them that much.

Agree with the early practice comment.

The most effective practice is getting one's heart rate up to 130+ BPM and engaging multiple paper targets at varying distances under low light or poor weather conditions.

After that, everything else is a walk in the park.
