Got it. My buddy who carries the AirLite revolvers graduated to a shoulder holster (he wears open baggy button-down shirts). I know the PM9 well...carried it many years until my wife finally warmed up to the idea of carrying, so I gave it to her. I miss it. Much lighter that the HK P2000SK I carry. I'm thinking of trading back or maybe getting a Kel-Tec like Zimmerman was carrying (not sure if he was carrying the PF-9 or P-11). The P-11 looks good. Hear/know anything about it? I should probably try one out at the range.

It has a heavy (true) DAO action but it's Kel-Tec reliable. Goes bang every time you pull the trigger.

For some reason I can't find it on the Smith & Wesson website. Maybe I'm an idiot? I've tried a few different search filters.

This is the same design.. But in the 44 mag version.. I think the 41 mag has been discontinued..

I know that, but you have to wonder why such idiotic crap as this isn't deleted and some other more benign things are. I'm sure the OP is proud of their 'BIG GUN' and likes to carry it concealed and they are probably a pimply faced 16 year old dreaming of it but what's the point?

Na dude .. The only thing I am proud of is my family.. The rest does not mean anything.. I Like to shoot.. posting about guns on here is to inform others about what is out there..Sharing my education about experiences and firearms.. Just trying to pass on a little knowledge.. that is all...

Meh.

While a nice pistol the .41 mag is a dead round. IMO you should have bought a .44 special, then you leave yourself open to a .44 mag in the future and can reload both off the same reloading dies.

Nevertheless congrats on your purchase.

Cheers

You are correct on the 41 mag being dead.. But my Grand Father always wanted one so I bought him one when I turned 21.. I still have it as he passed 20 plus years ago.. I also have 3 other 41 mags.. It is a great round to roll your own for. Reminds me of the 10 mm..

Jhikpghf Trying to find Factory 41 mag ammo at walmart is almost impossible.. It is hard to find it at a gun store.. You can find it at gun shows most of the time.. a little pricey.. Defiantly a caliber to reload for..
First time i had ever heard of this round, had to do some digging. That would be a big downside.

Well then that was a cool thing to do. If I were you I'd buy 500 shell casings and 5000 bullets to cover when this round disappears off the planet. In this environment could be fairly soon.

Cheers

RE: New Toy Concealed Carry
OP the .41 is nice. A friend of mine has a couple. He has enough rounds to last his life time.

Right now I am enfatuated with this that I picked up about 6 months ago.

That is a generic pic, but mine is just like it. I want to install a picanty rail under neath so I can attach a light. I saw one on youtube recently.
