He wears a mask; playing a role as do the "zombies", but where the zombies
are acting out of pure rage and instinct, this man, like the Norwegian shooter, who also was "in costume", has the added dimension of cunning.

Of course the media wants us to focus on the human drama.
They play on our human instincts and want to make us feel angry,
sad, and helpless. They will divert all the frustrations of a failing
economy and a failing society into our own shooting wars at home and
abroad; killing everyone but them.

The Trayvon Martin shooting aggravated race relations, the Norway shooter
casted suspicions on one-sided internet heroes, this shooting casts sus-
picions again on abnormal type loners/ Loughners, and the zombies re-
present the creme de la creme of the untouchable social failures- an ever swelling number of jobless and prospectless people .

If there is a thread that connects these acts of violence, then it is the
Helter Skelter aspect of a society in decay and the media hype that prevents critical thought while channeling and provoking emotional public reactions.

The attack in Aurora, right after the midnight/
witching hour; possibly suggests the death of the old world and the advent of the new, with spectators being caught in a cross-fire between the two
worlds. It doesn't auger well for the Olympics, but who knows?
