I really hate threads that are titles "Ask Me A Question" But i really want to clear some things up as I call myself a Christian but some of you may not consider me one because of some of my different beliefs.

For one thing, I don't deserve to be called a Christian. I don't go to church because i feel like it is one appointed man or woman that has their own interpretation of the Bible and they are spreading what they have taken from reading it to other people who cannot think for themselves or possibly cannot read.

Last time i went it had been a long time since i had been there and everyone made such a big deal out of it that i felt all eyes on me. Especially once the preacher started talking about pills and people that take pills. When in fact half of their congregation was more than likely on pills themselves. But i guess no one really counts all the little ol' ladies that took their Percocets and Xanax right before church that morning.

So i never went back. Now this was a church that i grew up in. It is small and full of people i have known all of my life. So nothing is a secret with these people. It is nothing but gossip and a fashion show.

to make this thread as little as possible so you posters can get your mock on,

I believe in God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I love God and his son Jesus and i have very strong Faith in them. I pray at least 3 to 6 times a day depending on if i need to and all for different things and people.

I do not have a problem with homosexuals or if they want to get married or not. i do not care.

I don't have a problem with Jews or Muslims or any other religion or belief. Because they have never targeted me for anything and if they did then i would just have to look over it because what am i gonna do about it? hate them? what will that accomplish?

But none of these things have anything to do with whether in war i would shoot them or not. I only fight in wars that i believe in. particularly freedom.

But i don't have anything against any races, colors, creeds, religions, beliefs, non-believers, whatever.
I don't know why people think all Christians believe that God would hate gays or want us to protest dead soldiers or why we should have anything to do with whether or not a woman would have a baby or have an abortion. I DON'T CARE.

So before you think you know me, just because of my beliefs in God Or Jesus, think again.

I am not a Westboro or Landover type of person.

So if you have a question as to what i believe then ask away. Reasonable questions.

I don't hate atheists or non-believers.

Maybe i speak for other Christians maybe not. All in all, i think some of you are using the bad people who claim to be Christians as models for all of us. so let me quell that.

If people don't choose to be gay anymore than people choose to be straight explain how it is a sin and why you pick and choose which to call sins. For example eating shellfish and wearing something of two cloths, these types of things are located in the same area as homosexuality.

Jesus never said anything about homosexuality I believe.
The only place it is mentioned is in Leviticus if I am not mistaken.

I think Jesus is ok with the homosex.
