"Ignorant"? They have controlled the world for over 2000 years and people are still playing their games, every single day. If they are ignorant then the "citizens" must be dumb like a box of rocks because the "tyranny" you're talking about was the point of founding this nation and it's also what our descendants fought to prop up.
