GOP has a long history of cashing in acts of terror: from letting the 9/11 attacks happen to push the PATRIOT act, forging intel on WMD to launch the war against Iraq and to score victories in 2002 and 2004. Romney’s first reaction upon learning of violence in Libya was to accuse Obama without knowing what’s actually going on – no wonders 2/3 of his staffers are former Bush staffers.

- at least let the 9/11 attack happen on purpose – the newly declassified CIA documents prove that

- exploited the 9/11 to introduce the PATRIOT ACT – the biggest violation of the human rights on the US soil thus far.

- forged intel on the Iraqi WND what in turn cost thousands of lives and trillions of dollars - the congressional investigation established that as a fact.

What should they have done? The guy has a freaking laser on the mortor installations ffs. The jets dial in the locations and strafe the installations to eliminate them.

You talk about hyperbole and then you say that jets would carpet bomb the city? wtf?

Whatever u think of Fox doesn't discount in any way, shape, or form the informed opinion of both ex-commanders - who, by the way, have been a boatload more informative than anyone on CNN or anywhere else.

And there is still no explanation for why a false story was trotted out for 2 weeks about a huge spontaneous protest over a video that never apparently ever happened ~ at all.
