Can I remind people that the US spends half of its tax incomes on the military. That your former white house occupants made open war a normal thing and started the pre emptive policy and changed the pentagon accordingly.

It is not weird that they do these things. It is the military way of thinking. It doesn't mean anyone is planning to do anything to Americans. Your military and politics show absolutely no sign whatsoever that it will go into some Hitler type episode, killing and persecuting a group within it's own borders.

There is just a security minded mindset, mostly because it is a profitable industry that managed to move the country accordingly. It is all more profit related that ideology or something that has anything to do with go for war with it's own people.
