HUGE distinction between the two (although faux news wouldn't want you to know). Communism is about communal living (everyone having ownership of the gov't and the means of production)....fascism is about private ownership (private individuals owning private companies telling the gov't what to do)....they are completely opposed to each other.

Capitalism and ownership of property by the masses is the opposite of Communism.
FASCISM is simply stopping short of the state owning everything.

The missing ingredient is CHOICE.
In Communism the state owns everything and has all power to tell folks what to think say and do.
The "commune" does not own ANYTHING in Communism.
The state can decide that you don't need toilet paper and you don't get toilet paper.
The state decides that certain ethnicities, religious affiliations, races, age groups, skin color, sexual preference, ideologies don't need to exist, then they don't exist.
Almost every Communist state has committed genocides.
