Possible riots worldwide?

Occupy Wall Street demonstrators, whose anti-greed message spread worldwide during an eight-week encampment in Lower Manhattan last year, plan marches across the globe tomorrow calling attention to what they say are abuses of power and wealth.

Organizers say they hope the coordinated events will mark a spring resurgence of the movement after a quiet winter. Calls for a general strike with no work, no school, no banking and no shopping have sprung up on websites in Toronto, Barcelona, London, Kuala Lumpur and Sydney, among hundreds of cities in North America, Europe and Asia.

Turning heads is worthless. Less than worthless if you don't have a set of concrete demands that can be met.

We know there is injustice. We don't need "awareness" of it, we need a set of demands met.

You commie OWSers just don't get it. Capitalism is good. Profits are good. The fact that the bankers pressured the gov't to pass legislation allowing them to create worthless loans is good. The fact that they then bundled those worthless loans and offloaded them on a bunch of suckers is good. The fact that they did this on purpose to get even richer at our expense is good. The fact that instead of being prosecuted, they received a $700 Billion bailout is good. They are too big to fail, after all. Beyond that, our Pharmaceutical and Insurance companies are good. It's good that we allowed them to write 'Obama's' healthcare bill because that way, they can profit even more and have total control over all of us instead of just most of us. Fractional banking is good. The Federal Reserve is good. You paying the taxes that would hurt the rich people is good. American jobs leaving for Mexico (or some other shithole country) is good because it allows the wealthy corporations to save the money that would otherwise go to paying the taxes that you cover, or even worse, your wages. Don't even get me started on all the wonderful things the oil companies have done for you.

With all these good things happening, what are you people whining about? Buncha communist hippies!
