Shilly McShillington  Wrote:
You commie OWSers just don't get it. Capitalism is good. Profits are good. The fact that the bankers pressured the gov't to pass legislation allowing them to create worthless loans is good. The fact that they then bundled those worthless loans and offloaded them on a bunch of suckers is good. The fact that they did this on purpose to get even richer at our expense is good. The fact that instead of being prosecuted, they received a $700 Billion bailout is good. They are too big to fail, after all. Beyond that, our Pharmaceutical and Insurance companies are good. It's good that we allowed them to write 'Obama's' healthcare bill because that way, they can profit even more and have total control over all of us instead of just most of us. Fractional banking is good. The Federal Reserve is good. You paying the taxes that would hurt the rich people is good. American jobs leaving for Mexico (or some other shithole country) is good because it allows the wealthy corporations to save the money that would otherwise go to paying the taxes that you cover, or even worse, your wages. Don't even get me started on all the wonderful things the oil companies have done for you.

With all these good things happening, what are you people whining about? Buncha communist hippies!
It's all very good for the elite overlords who are now so filthy rich that they could effectively live in absolute comfort for 10,000 generations. Long after the poor are a vanished memory.

OWS doesn't have a plan...(esp. that there really isn't one that would work anyway) ... ows isn't recruting, but it is growing...BECAUSE OF LOST JOBS AND HOMES...and as more and more slip over the edge of the cliff, the numbers in the street will continue to grow...

last year with 100,000 in several cities, the protesting remained relatively peaceful, (except for the cops) but when the numbers in the street reach a million in several large cities, it will get out of control...
the gov. is nervous, and passed the indefinate detention bill...and activated some of the fema camps...

...there is no stopping the coming revolution...the economics of the situation dictate what is going to happen....it's inevitable...

the only question is how much longer until shtf...and it could be this summer...Jhikpghf

RE: Occupy Wall Street Plans Global Disruption of Status Quo
I think a good demand would be for government to set up a not for profit money/value exchange system. It could be all digital and computerized to keep costs down and have paper checks as a back-up in case of power outage. Each person could have a handheld wifi/cell device to do personal transactions and transfers with businesses and individuals. Instead of it being backed by precious metals it could be backed by a more precious thing such as individual lives. This presumes that human life has value and supports that. People could have a base value(base cost of living?) and then be able to increase their value through education, developing a talent or special skill. Kids could accumulate more wealth through good grades and be able to apply that to college or self employment at graduation.

Things such as true cures, meds and healthy foods that ensured long active lives would increase the wealth of a country or any geographic area actually because it's power would be in its people as the precious resource. People themselves would be like walking banks. Businesses and ideas/concepts/communities could still compete for their investment/participation by providing something that increased health and perceived happiness.

It would change peoples focus and values more towards life sustainability individually and collectively and not so much of a focus on profits only especially if it were an unhealthy or dangerous product, service or byproduct like pollution, stress or war.
