I thought Jesus always preached the Kingdom of God and told his followers to reject the things of the world, so why would he want religion on Earth when he was always telling people to seek the "Kingdom of God"?

You should read your Gospels, that is what he preached from boats in lakes to the masses and everywhere he went. Have a read and a think.

just b/c i love you, i shall suggest this:

do you really think yeshua would care what 'religion' you adhered to?

him and his family don't care if your atheists or pagans even...

just live a loving life.

to obtain true oneness is the simple msg behind the teachings of christ, and his resurrection.. the purpose of the living spirit is to show us all this regardless of our belief system.

i think Yeshua would be just fine if you continued to follow hinduism, buddhism, native american spirituality, wicca, judaism, catholicism, islam, asceticism, jainism, rastafarianism, unitarianism, voodoo, etc...

just as long as you accepted others and strove to be one... and even if you didn't, the man and his family are not going to force you to do it.
