Neanderthals were primarily vegetarians(grain chewers)

Cro-magnum man was not.

We are hybrid of both.

The Kromaggs (also known pejoratively as "Maggs" and "Maggots" by humans), are a fictional species of humanoid primates from the science fiction television show, Sliders. They are a technologically advanced and highly militaristic race bent on conquering all human-dominated alternate Earths in preparation for an assault on the world they call Kromagg Prime, the world the humans on that Earth originally drove them from after a world war.

Professor Maximillian Arturo, Rembrandt Brown, Quinn Mallory and Wade Welles first encountered the Kromaggs in the season two episode "Invasion" on one of the more than 150 Earths they had subjugated. It was revealed in the episode that when the Kromaggs began dimensional travelling, they were shocked to see world after world dominated by Homo sapiens. They both hate and fear humans, considering them "vermin" and the enemy and have treated them accordingly. Kromaggs conquer most alternate Earths they encounter and keep those humans they didn't kill for slave labour, breeding purposes, or as test subjects. They find the discovered humans ugly, though they prize human eyes as a delicacy to eat.

Exiled from Kromagg Prime, the Kromaggs put a stop to their tribal wars with each other, uniting under a government known as the Kromagg Dynasty. Through dimensional travelling technology, they set about building their empire, travelling from Earth to Earth and claiming most as their own under a brutal occupation. They do not conquer all worlds however, as one episode revealed that the Kromaggs performed a hit-and-run assault on an unsuspecting Earth by stealing its fuel reserves and leaving, forcing humans on that parallel to make do without automobiles and such.

They are technologically advanced, with machines that can control gravity, create forcefields, hand-held energy weapons, genetic engineering and aircraft ("manta" ships) equipped with energy weapons and dimensional travel capabilities. The majority of their technology is believed to have been stolen from other worlds.

Actually they were the ancestors of the Elven races... or "Vulcans". Named as such as it relates to their emotions. Also know as "Tall Elves" or "Dark Elves". Oberon being one of the last pure bloods of this "mythical" race.

It is however unknown to the archeological community that these ancient ancestors of ours possessed pointed ears as cartilage does not fossilize.

Heard Gary Null talk about this lately, referring back to the SA article.

One doesn't know what to bealive a lot of times, e.g. .......

http://www.healthy-eating-politics.com

The way to know is to look at disease cured. The vegetarians are the ones with the track record of good health and reversing disease, even longer disease free life.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/magazine/7250675.stm

The thing is, plants come in many varieties - herbs, spices, vegetables, grains, fruits, grasses, algea, etc. Each type of plant has many varieties, and grow in different conditions so contain differing nutritional composition. Meats which our modern society consumes come in fewer types and fewer growing conditions. So yes, you should definitely eat more plant products than meat products and that makes sense. If you grabbed 4-5 random plants and decided that was all you would eat, well then you are where those people who want to exist only on animal products stand.

Humans were meant to eat a varied diet. Studies on telomere length have shown that several plant and animal products can actually grow telomere length, while most have little effect, and a couple have inverse relationships. As far as meats goes, Fatty fish, for instance, is one of those few products which can grow telomere length. Processed meats are one of the few foods which has an inverse relationship (and we are talking only one serving per week). Red meat has neither a direct or inverse relationship.

So in general, you want to eat lots o fatty fish, lesser amounts of red meats, and no processed meats.

Then again, heavy long-term daily exercise and stress have inverse relationships as well. There is a sweet spot regarding exercise since exercise reverses the effects of stress. This would be the moderate exercise rates. So you can eat all the good stuff you want but if you are over-exercising or not exercising enough to overcome the effects of stress, you are still toast - long term. It also goes without saying that smoking also has an inverse relationship.

If you want to eat the real Paleo diet you have to eat a lot less meat. This Scientific American article takes an up close look at the human gut, and it looks a lot like the guts of Apes and Chimps.
http://blogs.scientificamerican.com/gues...getarians/

you really need to ask jane goodall about chimps stealing human babies and eating them.

they also eat a lot of bugs.

plus, i didn't get this huge brain case by eating fruit.

you know, dolphins have big brains. they eat a lot of other animals.

we also don't have so much hair. maybe we really are aquatic apes. it'd make sense, you know. all that extra DHA we'd get from seafood would help make big brains possible.

anyhoo, when you get old, and the sarcopenia sets in, you'll get less selective about your protein.

Jane Goodall estimated chimps ate 3% meat diet. Not much, mostly insects.

RE: Our ancesters were vegetarians.
meat is the only whole food. you can survive your entire life on just meat(you must eat organs and lots of it raw however.... just like our ancestors did)...try eating 100 percent vegan without supplementing b-12 ... guess what ???

you cant. you die

there is no vegan alive today that is over 100

tell me how our ancestors survived the ice age without meat?? what was available to eat???
