Although I have not really heard much of their music or know much about the band, I was browsing the internet and was looking at some of the names of their songs.
and i find something shocking
look at some of the name of the songs below and it made me wonder?

Add all these songs together and you have a pattern with refrences to science, space, astronomy, time was the Pink Floyd band not of earth ? Were they trying to tell us a secret message within music ?

Pretty sure if you did as much LSD as they probably did back in the day... your song titles might be viewed as "kinda weird" too. :)

The first time I ever tripped my friends put on Dark Side of the Moon for me. Told me it was essential to the experience... and they were right. Even tho it was 25-30 years ago now, I can still remember the full moon that night, the palm trees, and the Pink Floyd. It was magical and I was totally blown away and amazed. To this day, every time I hear a DSotM song, it puts me right back there.

Trivia - Dark Side of the Moon was written in full in like six days... because that's all the studio time they had. When you realize that an absolute musical masterpiece was literally created "off the cuff", under that kind of pressure... wow. That's talent.

Interesting.... I just looked at the names of the songs for a min or two and my first impression or thought was they sounded like they might not have been of this world. They were trapped or crashed here or left by some others. The names of the songs have a pattern and that is what I saw. But your statement kinda makes sense with the feeling I got from the information. They could be related. I do not know much about this group but have started to listing to the music.

My favorite Floyd albums are

1. Animals
2. Wish You Were Here

Those two easily make my top ten albums of all time.

3. Dark Side of the Moon

An all-time classic without any doubt. But I still like the first two better.

And my LEAST favorite album? Well besides the Syd Barrett stuff (too far out for my tastes)... it would easily be THE WALL. I think The Wall is one of the most depressing albums ever. Some of the hit songs are okay... but the whole concept I just never enjoyed. Roger Waters was a freak and a very weird dude. LOL The Wall was his baby.

I am a serious fan of Pink Floyd and pretty much know everything there is to know about them, and i mean everything. and yes there have always been theories about their music. you know some of it synch's up with some movies.

When The Division Bell came out i believe right around the time of Pulse as well, 1994? or 92-94 there was a thing happening with their scroll board at concerts where someone named simply Enigma was said to have placed a secret message in the Div. Bell album. turned out it was just one of the roadies for publicity. then there is the backwards message on The Wall right before empty spaces?

i always kinda felt there was some kind of message in their album names too. also i remember reading that they were playing the footage in the background of the first moonwalk while they recorded DSOTM.

Pink Floyd in my very honest opinion, are the Kings of double meaning and secrets and very genius when it came to things like these.

But most of them are theories only, like the movie/album synchs the words might trip you out, and the beat matches sometimes, but they went by a very distinctive beat too.

"The Lunatics are on the grass, got to keep the Loonies on the PATH" when those words are sung the first time through, Dorothy and The Scarecrow are dancing down the yellow brick road.

I can go on all day about this. and i have a thread somewhere with a little bit about it in it.
