PRO and CONs of Gay Marriage

I too am quite traditional with this , marriage is man and woman for procreation of the species. and the marriage gives the fathers name to the child. tradition all the way. its not personal choice, its divine creation and survival of the fittest. the way nature designed. how long do you think you would last as a species by going against the natural selections. the two gay parties, come to realise they do need the opposite sex to have a family. Sodomites never lasted very long in society, a dyeing breed. I do not support gay marriage. I believe in Love. the fault does lay with the legislation. their should of been marriage or partners prime. but the law makers have no balls, or tits to stand firm. for legal co-sharing, it should of been a Partners prime contract, exactly duplicating the wedlock and laws of man and woman. changed only in Name.

But it is my own opinion. I do not seek others to follow me, or who justifies my reasoning to their argument.

i agree with you celestial..

How come no one ever factors in the overwhelming negative social costs associated with the homosexual lifestyle. Why don't we just start with the medical risk? AIDs is still a problem and the med.s are expensive.

How about the cost of reduced life expectancy, higher mental illness rates and so forth?
Homosexuals are more likely to abuse children. (Maybe many were the victims of abuse?)

But the ultimate cost for me, is the inevitability of God's judgment on the sexually immoral. That really scares me more than anything.

The LORD thunders at the head of his army; his forces are beyond number,
and mighty is the army that obeys his command.
The day of the LORD is great; it is dreadful. Who can endure it?

Pros: Everyone can get married and enjoy their entitlements.

Cons: Some people will never quit bitching when their illusion of exclusive entitlement is shattered.

Would you debate whether you have a right to vote? How about a debate on whether you have a right to work, to have a job? It's not up to debate, rights are guaranteed under the law. The right to marry is a basic one, and no one should have that "right" taken away by the state. So get used to it folks, gay marriage is a right.
