I think this is one of those cases where everyone is telling jokes and the boss hops in the conversation and tries to tell a joke but everyone is too intimidated to laugh.

What I saw was D becoming so fed up with all the divisive bullshit that was going on, he spoke out of exasperation because of the fact that we are all people.
So many want to attack differences when those differences have the potential to make mankind great, they also have the power to destroy us. We continue to fight amongst ourselves in a blind flurry that has deflected our fear-driven energies back unto ourselves.
Are we so ignorant that in order to work together we must look the same and have the same beliefs. What would divide mankind then? Eye coloration, hair color, height, intelligence, artistic ability?
The joke is us and taking ourselves too seriously. It is a question of perspective, and our tendency to have a limited one.

no... listen for a minute. there is a point. jokes are jokes and thats fine. and everyone knows he isnt racist and thats great. but i dont thinkits exactly polite when a decent person takes offense to a RACIST JOKE the person that told it says "yea well everyone knows im not a racist so whatever. flounce. im not responsible" if disturbed is going to ban peiople for racism and is fed up with it he needs to take responsibility when his actions are no different.

doesnt seem like a complicated situation to me. d, u guys always say how religion politics race offends peo0ple and it shouldnt be discussed. Now you are the one who has offended someone. The question is how will you deal with it>
