Post-Doom WTF
Do you really want to survive a doom scenario?
I mean honestly want to survive.
Can you imagine the complete and utter bullshittery that would be waiting for you.
What would you do? Where would you start?
I'm kind of thinking it might be better to come back around a bit later on.
But who knows.

Why let that go to waste
strive to thrive

So you're saying I owe to all the horny people of the past to do my best to survive?
I don't know though, I'd imagine that along with the hardships of surviving post-doom that the survivors themselves would be suffering from intense mental trauma.
Just seems like a lot of fuss and bother to extend this one lifetime.
But I do understand what you're saying. I think.

RE: Post-Doom WTF
I suppose that would depend upon the doom scenario itself. Most humans have a survival instinct at a very basic animal level. If you are talking soul level/consciousness, I say yes. There is an amazing level of bullshitery already assaulting us all on a daily basis. Why would post doom be any different? Srjceahd

I just see so many people spending what seems to me to be waay too much mental energy on survival preparation in order to extend an already finite life.
And yeah, it's easy for me to say this now, but when shit hits the fan I'm sure i'll be singing a different tuen.

I've always thought I honestly wouldn't but guess would have to actually be faced with the situation to know for sure. I can honestly say from this vantage point that nothing about surviving let alone thriving in a Mad Max type world appeals to me.

Someone recommended the Walking Dead to me for this subject, i.e. to see how people survive. I tried several times to get into this show for that reason, and it was interesting in that regard but just couldn't do it in the end..can't take all that gore, ugh.

I hear ya. But if doom happened in a non-instantaneous way, wouldn't you like to be prepared? A few canned goods, some water...to live out the rest of your finite life in a comfortable manner. Heartflowers

I guess I've always been an adapt or die rather than a be prepared kinda person.

What, in your entire life, have you adapted to in order to prevent your death?

Then, on the other hand, how much have you lived your life preparing for stuff?

A little introspection might reveal you're not such an "adapt or die" kind of person.
