Have you ever revisited a place of your childhood

today, I drove roads I haven't traveled in years

I climbed cliffs and rocks.
Things hadn't changed too much.
But some of the of the areas had weathered to almost impassable

the beauty of some of the beaches hadn't changed

nor had the strength I refound

nor had the height of the cliff faces

the sunset was as beautiful as I remembered

at the end of the day, the main thing I went away with is though you can't go back, you can refind it all anew.

I remember being 6 and walking a mile up hill.... that was tough. I would stop to sit and watch ants work their hills.

Look a lot like N. California and reminds me of where I grew up. I sure miss it a lot. It's too bad it's been completely ruined and is essentially a failed state.
