Without considering the competition it sounds great.

Considering the competition I will repeat my prediction. RIM has two years at most before they quit selling handsets.

its 2 years too late... and it wont ship until 2013.

they killed themselves when the iphone was released and decided that it was a fad, and they wanted nothing to do with touch screens, cameras, media players, and anything that involved 'big data' like web browsing.

RIM is stuck in 1995 like the Palm VII.

All I know for sure is that there is going to be a lot of open realestate on Philips street in Waterloo ON.

Rofl considering they own most of the buildings on it and columbia st..

looks good on em too.
i worked there at teh plant. but it wasnt always located there.
i worked at it when it was on a different st.. then we moved to there.

I believe that competition is what keeps technology rushing forward at a scalded rabbit pace. But there just isn't room now.


Apple iOS, Google Android, MS WindowsRT. Those will be the big three. The others will fall aside. There isn't room for more OS's in the market.

I'd like to see a smaller player in the field, but they just can't compete without the desktop environment to co-support and the existing user base.
