Dick Clark wasn't real. Certainly not for the last ten years or so. Did you see him lately, that was clearly some kind of clone or something.

He was recovered after a stroke. This is not the time or thread for these types of comments, this thread is to honor his life and in memorian.

Please refrain.

Show a little respect, eh? The man certainly deserves it, he was THE eternal optimist.

Deus lumen cordis mei
et panis orisintus animae meae
et virtus maritans mentem meam
et sinum cogitationis meae ?
Non te amabam,
et fornicabar abs te,
et fornicanti sonabat undique :
''euge, euge''.

I did do a search for Dick Clark before I posted this, but nothing came up. It happens, wasn't the first nor will it be the last time. Hugs

happens all the time.

I have to say I don't agree with pinning stuff like this anyhow...I think the birthday threads pinned are nice, but celebrity deaths are covered pretty well on the msm.

I disagree there, and I am NOT a celebrity follower and never have been one to be "star-struck", but there are a very few celebrites that have made a huge impact among their cohorts and across the generational gap. Clark was one of those. They deserve a pin, however brief it may be.

I disagree with the birthday threads being pinned. Too much of a "cliqueish" type of thing and excludes WAY too many people.

And now...let's just stay on topic shall we?
