Back in the day, everyone still had all the same problems we have today but they didn't go and kill people, at least not like today. It's become an epidemic. There are people who have lost their limbs and still love life, there are people who have terminal diseases and still love life, there are people who have lost their families in accidents and still want to live, then there are these weak-minded sociopaths who decide that it's their right to inflict fatal punishment on others because their feelers got hurt. Our problem is more and more sociopaths. It's an EPIDEMIC.

You get what you give, and this action?, this action is similar to what goes on in others countries every damn day, yet you complain, you whine, you feign contempt and surprise when the exact same thing happens closer to "home"...

Children are killed everyday by remote controlled aircraft, played as a video game by the very sons and daughters you are so "proud of", and other countries are doing the same, the killing of innocent knows no limits to age, boarders, and beliefs one may "think" they have..

The individual simply snapped, showed how the world "really" is everyday, and the female called "mother" was stupid to back a man in a corner like that, a man that obviously had self egotistical pride in ones self and abilities, to be publicly humiliated like that, with the daughters obviously on board with the mother, was more then he could stand as an alpha male..

The daughter BTW was not supposed to survive (which means he is a lousy shot to begin with being point blank and all) and as far anyone knows, she (mother) was the instigator, and the daughters were laughing at him in humiliation (we simply do not KNOW people)

The weapon is not the issue...no.. the issue is people like "YOU".. who worry over this close to home, but have no problem eating pizza and drinking beer, watching others in another country getting killed..

Who is the sociopath here?.. you?.. or him?...

And this is coming from a self confessed gun nut.

But... (isn't there always a but?) knowing what I know now after having gotten raked through the coals during my divorce I probably would have thrown the ex wife out a window before having to deal with that mess. I'd rather do a dime on second degree manslaughter than have to deal with that again.

In certain states (most actually) the man has absolutely no rights or say when it comes to custody and child support. He's lucky if he even gets to see the kids much less be a part of their lives if the ex is a nasty sort like mine was. Then there is the child support issue. A man can pay out half of his pre tax and medical coverage paycheck every week in child support. Say the man earns $400 per week pre-tax income. Up to $200 is deducted in child support but the tax is still paid on that $400. In some states that tax is 1/4th of your check and then there is medical coverage for the children to pay out as well. If the state and the ex are feeling vindictive you actually have to take a second job just to finish paying the amount owed every week.

Speaking from experience and all because I objected to her dating while we were married. It's a wonder that any man gets married nowadays.

Last week here in my town, An "ex-police" officer created a stand off.
He barricaded himself in his home with many guns. He was prepared to do big damage. Fortunately it ended well and he was subdued.

A few months back, there was a murder suicide. A guy found out his "estranged wife" was seeing one of his co-workers. He shot/killed the man then himself while his wife was present.

Big shock in the community. They each left 4 children.

Betrayal is tough.
