Yep... I don't think people like that genuinely love their children if they are willing to shoot them or even shoot their mother. It's not weak by any means, it's NOT a gun issue regardless of how you look at it. The guy may have had a clean bill of health - on paper at least. Quite possible he never threw up any red flags previously that would have landed him trouble or in a mental facility that could have prevented him from obtaining a firearm lawfully. But it's not a gun issue. Your argument, on the contrary, is weak - but I expect on less from an anti-gun shithead.

Didn't need to harm the kids, but another typical American woman wanting to bail on her marriage and family cuz she found some other man she wants to bang or has some fantasy that the grass is greener on the other side of life. Man put an end to that instead of getting himself neutered in divorce court.

You don't know this. The guy shot and killed his wife and one child and left one in critical condition. Whats to say the man doesn't have a history of abuse or going into a rage when they argued - can't blame a woman for wanting to leave a man because of that. In fact, the simple fact she elected to tell him in public is an indicator she may have feared him and thought in public she would have been protected.

Sounds like you had a bad experience with a relationship and it has left you bitter.

Granted if someone wishes to cause harm they will. However, as guns are part of your constitutional right...perhaps you'd have LESS murders if they were not so accessible and acceptable.

The whole world can see the US gun mentality and the problems it causes...how come the citizens of the US can't see it? So sad. The NRA is too powerful! Sad story but won't be the last :(

This woman was terrified of this man, she called the police while at the restaurant. And in hind sight she had every reason to be terrified.
He doesn't sound like a man not wanting to go through a divorce he sounds like a bully that lost control of something and didn't get his way and knew no other way of handling the situation.

Clearly there is some history with this man that caused her to do this in public as well as phone the police. Either way, the man is a small man.

God forbid we do some simple testing that might weed out a few mental cases, which might hurt their sales numbers.
