guess everyone hates Iran and doesn't want to remember them making kind offers of assistance. And nobody thinks a world-wide effort at fixing Fukushima is worth it either...

I am not the most knowledgeable person about Iran, in fact, far from it.

I have met Iranian people and found them to be very nice.

The Iranian president with unpronouncable and unspellable name also seems like a pretty straight-up guy to me.

Well, it is true that they have a religious/secret police. It is not that free and nice for everyone. But the thing is. British petroleum installed this revolutionary regime when the people revolted against the Brits and thought a revolution would free them. They regime are our puppets. And everybody in Iran know this, we in the west just do not know.

And Chavez offered North America, his country's petroleum at about half of what OPEC sells theirs for and the U.S. basically told him to FOAD. S977

Now see where our gas prices are?!!?

In the end each other is all we have.

Yeah, the asian ones have a bit of a mean streak, but overall Those Evil Axis Dictators are pretty generous and helpful guys.

at the time I found it pretty incredible that they would do that due to the bad politics with them. But really this is about Fukushima...

I know that the countries of the world, if having had the opportunity to have their top scientists and military join forces, could have figured something out by now.

But waiting a year has made it so much worse.

I bet the spent fuel pools could have been removed, at least.
