Those who continue to adamently dispute what they think they should be allowed to post and view on D's site remind me of undisciplined and bratty children who will push, push, push against their parents or authority figures to get their way, and they never do grow out of their adolescent tendencies. Very little graciousness or respect for others is demonstrated in their character.

I'd like to know why these same people aren't demanding that Amess allow them to post nude photos on his site, ION.

It was made quite clear in the early days of ION that it was to be a serious only board, with only quality posters receiving invites and if you posted anything in violation of that, your account would be deleted.

I am by no means demanding the right to post nudity, it is just that, the come one come all nature of LOP engenders itself to a bit of zany content. With LOP being a adult forum, accepting posts from anyone and about anything, there tend to be a lot of internet jokes on here.

Anything serious, I post both here and on ION (and sometimes AP too).

I spend more time on here and do enjoy the overall nature of the place.

I have expressed many times, that the overall user experience would be better if there were a couple of sub-forums. LOP has the critical mass of users and could easily support one or two sub-forums. Ideally, such an innovation would keep the serious folk and the jokers happy.

It is not a matter of anything to do with respect for D. I appreciate this place.

A forum is ultimately a creation of the users, under the guiding hand of the moderators. It is the users who create and bump threads and thus decide what is popular and whatnot.

Since joining here (and I was mostly just a lurker previously), it was quickly noticeable that stupid natured threads here do a lot better than the serious ones. Eventually, you have to go with the flow of the place or give up.

I still post serious material but it rarely attracts much interest...
