While I realize that it doesn't pay me to think too much, I did have a thought in regard to your 'nephelim' giants... I believe that these men may live inside the earth (yes, I tend to believe the hollow earth theories, and that more than one, perhaps, kind of people have taken up residence there, for whatever reason), and that they were once 'normally-sized' en, if not slightly larger and more muscular than we currently tend to be, and that the effects of gravity inside the earth allow for a much larger frame size, as was noted by the Norwegian, Olaf Johnson, that allegedly found his way inside with his son. His story is titled 'The Smoky God,' and I put up a link once... you can look it up easily enough.

These men are most likely ito nclude the sons of Korah, who I believe will have a place in the Great Day of the Lord that is predicted to come... they have an axe to grind, so to speak, and while they were once proponents of Love, they were made to pay the ptice for it, and were said to have been sent alive to the pit by their own brother. Having grown substantially over the years, due to their accomodations, they will now be villiefied, I'm sure (if they exist, of course) as evil giants that need to be wiped off the face of the earth, for the good of Christanity everywhere, and especially the Pope and the other assorted members of the earthly Synagogue of Satan. That would make a great story, don't you think?
