U.S. Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has used a “Swiss bank account to hide his income,” says Dave Lindorff, a Philadelphia-based investigative journalist and author.

Mitt Romney has refused to release multiple tax returns or disclose who his bundlers are. So far, Romney has only released his 2010 tax return.

In his interview with the U.S. Desk on Wednesday, Lindorff said Romney is probably hiding “a lot of things” that could be “embarrassing.”

“He’s probably using tax shelters offshore to avoid U.S. taxes which would really tick off many average Americans,” he said. “There may also be illegalities, things that he’s done that are actually cheating on his taxes that will end up being exposed if he has to show his taxes.”
