By GLENN ADAMS, Associated Press – 2 minutes ago

AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) — With Romney's nomination all but decided, Ron Paul supporters wrested control of the Maine Republican Convention and elected a majority slate supporting the Texas congressman to the GOP national convention, party officials said as the two-day convention neared its end Sunday. The results gave the Texas congressman a late state victory.

The names of 15 at-large delegates from Maine to the GOP nominating convention in Tampa, Fla., were posted Sunday as votes for the other delegation seats remained undecided. Maine is allotted a total of 24 delegates to the national convention.

"It's certainly a significant victory," said Jim Azzola of South Portland, Cumberland County coordinator for Paul. The votes were to become finalized when the convention closes.

How many delegates total has he won?

What about any delegates Santorum and or Gingrisch won?
Will those be transferred to the remaining two or the winner, or just lost forever?

I just got back and can tell you that there was soooooo much shit going on this weekend from Romney's camp it was laughable. The convention is still going on http://www.ustream.tv/channel/octojofo watch live... ( I had a long drive back) but we won both the GOP Chair and 15 delegates aka all of the delegates.

The press has been (as per usual) WAY out of touch with what has happened on the ground imho.

I don't trust any of them.

The shenanigans the Romney staff tries to pull off is amazing. As a Delegate
in Minnesota that Dr. Paul is just about sweeping, we were trained in tactics
to prevent the bullshit. We had 3 evenings of meetings, our slate adopted, and when and what to vote on.
Everything went smooth at the BPOU and the County convention and Minnesota will send a huge majority of confirmed Ron Paul supporters to Tampa., !
God bless us all

What about the "lost delegates" that went to the candidates that dropped out? If those went to someone else later they will declare the victor.
I figure the Republican party will hold them like aces and if Ron Paul gets close, they will all just throw in with Mitt.

Yesterday (in Maine) we had a list get passed out for delegates (from the Romney camp) under the guise of "Grassroots Liberty List of Delegates) however because we (RP delegates) were already organized we knew better, but that was just one of the dirty tactics from yesterday.
We can't get our stuff together here in Maine. My county was the last to leave last night (9pm) without much being accomplished due to Romney's camp.

I suspect Dr. Paul will have a very good showing in California also.

For a variety of reasons.
