RE: SHOCK! Police Uses Water Instead of Gas for All Cars
Since this concept violates the first law of thermodynamics and this apparatus
has never been demonstrated to work and has never been reproduced, it was met
with much skepticism and was later found to be a hoax. The purpose of the hoax
was likely to attract gullible investors, selling them licensing rights for a
"revolutionary" technology.
The inventor, Mr. Stanley Meyer (died at March 21,
1998[1]), was later successfully sued by some of these disgruntled investors,
whom he had sold "dealerships", and convicted for "gross and egregious
fraud".[2]
The fraud trial was in 1996, a couple years before Meyer's death. He
was found guilty and ordered to repay some of his victims, and it
effectively put a stop to his fraud scheme.
However, he spent the rest of his life trying to convince people that
the fraud trial was a sham, and he once wrote a long rambling letter
to a bunch of his remaining "investors" detailing espionage, theft,
gunplay, etc., to try to keep them from taking him to court to get
their money back. (It reads like a James Bond novel, and it
illustrates just how disconnected with reality Meyer was.)
Meyer died of a brain aneurism in 1998. But to this day there are
still loonies out there who insist he was poisoned or was "killed with
a microwave weapon" to suppress his great technology.

RE: SHOCK! Police Uses Water Instead of Gas for All Cars
During my quest for the court records on this Meyer fiasco, one of my
requests to various Clerks of Courts in Ohio was forwarded to Judge
William Corzine, the judge who presided over the case.
I had a rather interesting telephone conversation with Judge Corzine
this morning. During our conversation, he pointed me to where I can
obtain records on the case: Clerk of Courts, Fayette County
Courthouse, Washington Court House, Ohio. (Washington Court House is
a city.) All the records should be there, and the Clerk of Courts
says that since they've got the complete files there for cases running
back to 1992. This should be interesting.
Judge Corzine and I had numerous chuckles over the Meyer affair. He
assured me there's no truth to the claim that the fraud judgement was
reduced to $1, nor did he or anyone else turn off any recording
device. He was, as some of us here on s.e.h are, impressed with the
delusional thinking and conspiracy paranoia espoused by Meyer and his
followers. He also felt that Meyer actually believed in his
'technology' and grossed somewhere between $1.2 and $1.5 million with
this scam. Since Meyer never appealed his guilty judgement, the tape
of the trial may not have been transcribed. I'm hoping it was. (But
even if I obtained a copy of the tape, *that* would be explained as
the product of a sinister intern imitating Meyer's voice with a
synthesizer. Hey, if you believe in Meyer was killed with a microwave
weapon you can believe anything.)
Judge Corzine said that his impression of Meyer was that he was a
warm, sincere man, but he definitely suffered a certain disconnect
from reality. He was astounded that people could be gullible enough
to fall for what Meyer was promoting.

Blahh Blahh Blahh..
All I can read of your posts is "I'm a butt lover of the government appointees, as I believe what they say every time, let me warm up my knee pads and get ready for some "lovin" from my masters, the government appointees...
Really?..
You are one of the most inline, tow the party numbers and statements individual I have ever seen writing on a forum.. really...
If you used your actual brain cells and "truly" researched the designs, you would see that some (not all) suffer from improper working principles...
But HHO has/.is/ and will continue to be used regardless of your so call "breaking" of the thermodynamic laws (which it does not)..
How more obvious of a paid shill could one be?...

RE: SHOCK! Police Uses Water Instead of Gas for All Cars
The economy of the US, and by extension the world, is based on the petrodollar. If the price of oil had suddenly plummeted due to greatly reduced demand (by people getting hundreds of miles to a gallon), the world's economy would have crashed long ago. Internal combustion engines are a boon for the oil industry. That's why we don't (and probably won't anytime soon) have a meaningful mass transit system here, despite living in a large country.

This is the part of the conversation that really needs to get dialogue time. Thanks for mentioning it.
That line of reasoning goes as follows, hypothetically of course: "Let's say tomorrow, an inventor designs a box that can be filled with water and generates enough power for four electrical devices (plugs), about the size of a breadbox. What next?"
