Basically Saturn anywhere in your chart is where the taskmaster is either going to restrict you, slow you down, confound you and slowly come around to help you improve your life for your own good.

Scorpio is DEEP TRUTH. So we are collectively going to have to face the music or we are going to burn.

In the US people are clamoring for the government to face the music. But the problem is, even those who are clamoring for this in the worst way are doing the NIMBY approach (not in my backyard). I know that the ones who are screaming for the FED to stop printing money are the same folks who are going to be bitching the loudest when shit happens to them. Saturn in Scorpio means for many of us, unless we get cracking and get deeply truthful about the skeletons in our closet, we are going to continue on the road to discipline and its not going to be pretty.

Now, that said, and what MM alludes to as well, is Saturn isn't all that bad and Scorpio isn't all that bad. Saturn is what makes us eat our peas. Scorpio is the peas. (not everyone likes peas.)

Now, I have Saturn in Scorpio in the 9th house. literally the last time that happened, my boyfriend who was a nice smiling easygoing Libra, dumped me hard while two timing me with another girl. The rest of my school year sucked badly - hated every moment of the rest of the school year. I felt like I was the ugliest girl in the world and the stupidist - how come I was the last to know he was secretly dating this girl and I had no clue?

I was in shock.

Incidentally, a similar event happened to my husband around the same time involving a very good friend of his who was slandering him with regard to his work.

I think the lessons for both of us was "don't be fooled and don't be played as the fool"

Definitely go to Astro.com to look up your chart and where Saturn in Scorpio was (which house) in 1982 and see what happens.

I happened to look at where Saturn was and which house it has been in the last 10 years and it hit my 6th house almost exact when my daughter was born, and the 7th house when my husband was on the road all the time.

I think Saturn has a greater impact on our houses than I realized...especially when i looked at the houses and signs they were hitting.

I started thinking while reading that - I have a waxing Cancer Moon conjunct both North Node and Vertex in the 8th (night chart)! I had a sudden understanding that THIS is what Saturn in Scorp will bring to the surface, finally.

Because my nodal axis puts the place of contraction and bad habits (South Node) in the epitome of the Scrooge (capricorn/2nd), not only will this Cancer Moon energy be highlighted by Saturn in his oh so nonjudgmental ways, but also my desire to hole-up and stockpile resources.



Still looking forward to this as a Saturn return in an angular house containing both Mars and Pluto has been quite draining.
