In fairness though,

i do have to admit, it's nice to see America finally drop the "christian" act,

The USA was created by Illuminati satanists, in a fake revolution that was staged to create Francis Bacon's New Atlantis.

America was never Christian, nor was it created by Christians,

it was created by Illuminati satanists,

230+ years to finally drop the mask,

out law christianity,

and legalize gay sex, gay parades, gay marriages,

and now try and spread, errr force that on the rest of the world.

To be fair, it is only a misdemeanor to have sex with a horse in 13 states...

No, you can be arrested for creating a public nuisance and hazard by having so many cars parking on your street all the time for your amateur at-home church that no one can get thru, including fire or other emergency responders in the event of a need for that kind of thing.

And for continuing the activity causing the hazard when asked a number of times to stop, eventually leading up to that level of enforcement activity.

It has NOTHING to do with the specific activity involved to make all those people arrive and block your street with their cars. You could be holding Roman Orgies and elicit the same response.

Although frankly I think the orgies would be MUCH more entertaining and worthwhile.

You Christers will need to find another example of your impending martyrdom to amuse yourselves with.

You're wasting your breath. Those Christers don't care about other folks.

Ther's no finer way to start the morning than with a steaming cup of liquid assole.

Not only do you need to read the U.S. Constitution, but, apparently, you have to read The Holy Bible, as well.

Educate yourself.

For the Truth!

Hebrews 13:17 "Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you."

Romans 13:2 "Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation".

chuckle
Oh, SNAP!
chuckle

Isn’t it sweet? You cherry-pick a bit from the Bible, a bit from the Constitution, obtain 501© tax-exempt status, ignore the rest of scripture, laws and other people rights, and when reality kicks back you declare yourself a Christian martyr. Flawless!

BTW, the event happened on the Joe Arpaio's turf = Phoenix, Maricopa County (District 1).

chuckle

Fear is the lengthened shadow of ignorance.

RE: Scary You can be Arrested for having a Bible Study in your Home!!!
It really does sound as though this man was playing some games .......calling it a "bible study" when in fact it was actually a church being operated on his property.

By calling it a "bible study", he was basically finding a sneaky way around having to obey the laws regulating zoning for churches and building requirements for fire safety and such.

Sometimes it is possible to bring trouble upon yourself by acting outside the law or pushing the limits of it. I would not consider this persecution.

According to the Apostle Peter, suffering as a result of wrongdoing on your own part doesn't qualify as being persecuted for Christ.

1Pe 4:14 If ye be reproached for the
name of Christ, happy are ye; for the
spirit of glory and of God resteth upon
you: on their part, he is evil spoken of,
but on your part he is glorified.

1Pe 4:15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.

There is a lot more to this story at this link:

http://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/2008-01-1...buying-it/

Bottom line is perhaps he needs to start practicing what he preaches. Then he will not find himself sitting behind bars.

His actions do not glorify Christ, but rather bring reproach upon the name of Christ.

There is plenty of real persecution against Christians going on the world.....but I don't see this as fitting the description.

RE: Scary You can be Arrested for having a Bible Study in your Home!!!
I've heard of this happening before. But before you go getting all upset about it, these were cases where people were holding daily events, and essentially making themselves a church. Some areas and neighborhood covenants do not allow places of religion or business in a residential area. People also regularly run into difficulty when they run day cares out of their home, too. You end up with a lot of traffic, noise, cars parked everywhere. People need to check these things out before purchasing a home.
