What if all Atheists in America want is equality?

equality? What is equality? An equls sign? The word IS? This denotes a truth and in particular a true statement. This considers a standard by which equality can be seen.

Atheists want equality with what?

It is said that all men are created equal. Equal to what? Each other?

Do you really think that they seen one man as equal to another?

Is the murderer equal to the nurse?

What is equality?

There is a deep confusion in this man's saying. We do not need to look up, but inward and toward each other.

In fact I can't honestly say that it is a confusion but a contempt. It is clearly the words of a man who recognizes no power greater than himself.

By such a mindset equality is not possible. It is vain and empty.

Well.. most of the "non-secular" "religious" aren't what they say they are anyway. Are really secular by their actions. May think themselves "pious" but are just pretenders, parrots, and buffoons. This is the same no matter which city you go to.

We do have a large amount of blowback from the church state here though. It happens when you put 2 churches on every street.

Anyway. Who cares?

well its pointless to argue with that. It doesn't speak to the heart of the matter though. It surely is error to dismiss the meaning based on the actions of ignorance.

Well on it's face, it appears that an atheist was upset that city council meetings began with a prayer. And he bargained for a little equal time, and they were okay with that.

Personally, as a matter of principle, I don't think it's appropriate to start a government meeting with a prayer, but as a matter of tradition, I'd choose another battle, like the tradition of putting toxic Sodium Fluoride in our water supply.

I'm gonna have to go down there and fight that battle myself, I haven't done anything about that yet.

But I don't really care if there is a prayer or something like that before the meetings.
If all the councilmen are Christians, they might want to have a little prayer, I don't care.

I bow my head for grace when I eat with Christians who say grace. Don't ask me to lead it, you're not gonna be happy:

Bless the lord the Holy Ghost
Who eats the fastest eats the most
Amen
Dig In.

Hiding

I shut up and respect it if I'm not pressured about it.

Atheist wanted to say a few words at a city council meeting, and they said OK, is trending the right way IMO.

Quote:For the first time, instead of a prayer, an atheist delivered an invocation to open Tulsa City Council's meeting Thursday night.

Dan Nerren told the council it's important to respect each other's rights and that together we can make Tulsa a better place for everyone.

"We must remember that in the face of adversity we need not look above for answers, but instead recognize the proven potential within ourselves and in each other to overcome any challenges we face," Nerren said.

Nerren said atheists haven't felt a part of the community, because of they don't believe in a God.

But he said being allowed to deliver Thursday night's invocation before the council provides of sense of belonging.

It's about time Atheists and Seculars get involved in Political goings in their communities. I look forward to a rational America and it's a step in the right direction.

Keep jacking off to this if you like. But it's just another sign of the destruction to come. b*tch, moan, and name call me all you like, but there's a hard day comin where all of you non believers will be faced with the truth of God. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. I do not look forward to that day, nor the millions of people that will fall away at that time. Get yourself right and stop fighting your Creator.
