There was a religion free weekend that you didn't agree with. If they made a religion only weekend you know who wouldn't agree with that? The people who don't believe or agree with religion.

Agree with Lucky AC. Flountastic you are a nice person, you seriously need to take a chill. You AND MadHatter are trying to force acceptance of your religion by demanding that no one can say anything mocking, make jokes or have gifs that portray your religion in a negative light.

You both need to grow some thicker skin. Ok, you are offended by what a posters says about your religion; who the hell cares? Many get offended by people posting different political views or mocking Obama, according to what you and MadHatter are demanding any posts mocking Obama or Romney should also be censored because someone will get offended.

Everyone will get offended by something, if we all demanded that a joke or post be deleted because it will offensive about kittens or Marilyn Monroe, pretty soon all we would have are chat threads. Matter of fact, why do you just post in the moran thread, shouldn't find that many things that will offend you in that thread.

Im not trying to "Force" acceptance of my Religion on anyone. And the only time that honestly that joking/mocking is a real issue is when, Threads solely for that purpose are made. And especially when a Mod joins in on it.

I honestly dont think people would be so sensitive about it, if there was EVER any support from this site, at least saying its not cool. But instead it seems as though they encourage it.

Yeh. I guess I do need to chill. Its obvious nothing Im saying is getting through.

I have no problem with ANYONE ANYWHERE, not agreeing with my religious views! But I do have a problem with being targeted for attack here on this forum because of them.

Your assumption is just plain wrong. Do you know how many times I've been brought up on clique accusations simply because I have friends on here that I have fun with? How about the people who post threads that hate bday threads being pinned? Even the mods get attacked regularly. It is not just Christians & you are adding fuel to the fire.

Like I said before BOTH sides of this ongoing silliness are in the wrong.

I haven't written it off as 'metaphorical'. In fact, millions of people have not written it off as metaphorical.

Problem is. Three or four guys getting together and agreeing on something because they call themselves theologians, doesn't mean they speak for the rest of Christianity.

Normally, I take pause in closing a thread like this because I truly believe that venting is cathartic and healthy.

There are some, however, that I feel that by leaving this thread open will result in the creation of more stomach acid...so I will honor the request of the OP.
