The share price is $0.10/share with a looming Chapter 11 exit next Tuesday. However, an appeal is almost guaranteed so probably won't be a done deal until much further out.

What do the financial guru's on this site say?

Talk about mismanagement.

They completely missed the boat the past 20 years.

The only thing Kodak has going for it is the name. I would look at who has interest in them then buy that stock .

I´m not a guru in anything, but if you not have intrest in Kodak why so occupied?

Kodak will do fine, but like Lego still alive, but innovation might come from outside wayy delayedJptdknpa

You wanna bet on next great innovation go all out like mew, and forget the profit, it´s old days if phantom Future.

There is no real joy in stocks for gamblin stocks sake, only 24h of manicness, no time to drive 300 000$ car, nor 2mill$ Villa, nor fukin enjoy a premier Italian sausage I insisted 5 times was better at a local stall then etc top this/that.

You will never find true happiness if not invest in it from true Love/Enthusiasm..

If not 200% sure Albanian Anita safe with Hotelowners I befriended, I would interapple Her Life, but She is seen as a part of their Fam so I not worryCheer

Investing in Fam/Friends is best you can do if gamble for future

That maybe how the books look. But I have a seriously great camera that I purchased about 5 years ago. I would not trade it for an equivalent Cannon.

As for stock, can't tell you one way or the other. But, when Enron was headed down, we bought 500 shares at a $1 each because according the everyone I knew in the oil business in Houston said that the government would not let a big oil company go down.
The thinking was that the shares would make a come back to above $50, then $75 or better in a short long run.

Well, we all know what happened there. Not the same situation, but risky. I would liken it to buying penny stocks. I have some, got excited about a few, and it's currently not worth enough to open the monthly statement. LOL But, hey........someday! chuckle

Kodak was run by and for people who lived for and loved real photography. I am sure they never thought digital would ever replace film.

It's sad that it has. Nothing beats good old Kodachrome 64.

They are planning to take it a lot further.

The world is their oyster and it is wide open.

first they sell you a phone then they buy it back 6 months later and give you a new better phone. While your old phone is repackaged and sold in developing countries. These companies are planning an explosion of growth over the next five years.

This May be one of the biggest Paradigm shifts we've seen since the CPU.

in other words your new CPU is your phone.

It will Talk, Listen, think, communicate and keep up with our every move.Bump

If we have a new trend (Gold up,DOW down) Gold stocks are way undervalued, My GSS has made some pretty good gains the last couple of days.

Kodak was in a tight spot at a tight time. The marketplace was switching to digital and they could have put more money into digital technologies but didn't. They concentrated on cheap consumer cameras/printers and should have gone for it all back then or at least created their own successful vistaprint. Kodachrome was beautiful at the time but nothing lasts forever and neither do companies. As for investing in Kodak now, I would suggest giving your money to me. I will tell you that I invested it and in the end, you will get the same return. I could even send you quarterly Bernie Maddoff -style reports.

Don't invest in anything unless you get to first personally know who's in charge and will be playing with your money. If you give strangers your money to play with, you're asking for trouble.
