DNB is not letting me look now, blank page. chuckle

The first link you gave me had a token or something tagged to the end of the URL.

I just deleted the session marker and it worked fine.

Might need to clean your cookies.

??

Frankly I was surprised I was able to find Obama.

Somebody do somebody else famous.

Do Scalia or somebody on SCOTUS.
chuckle

Dumped super duper cookies and got back in.
DNB appears to be a credit monitoring/credit expediting service from their products page. chuckle They can't get credit fast enough I guess.

I'd like to know what established allodial title as our way of doing things.

From the second link:

"...And to preserve their independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt.
We must make our election between economy and liberty or profusion and servitude. If we run
into such debts as that we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our
comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our callings and our creeds, as the people of
England are, our people, like them, must come to labor sixteen hours in the twenty-four, and give
the earnings of fifteen of these to the government for their debts and daily expenses; and the
sixteenth being insufficient to afford us bread, we must live, as they now do, on oatmeal and
potatoes; have not time to think, no means of calling the mismanager's to account; but be glad to
obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves to rivet their chains on the necks of our fellow sufferers..."

Just noticed my screw-up. I meant fee-simple title.

I wonder what piece of law established fee-simple title here.

RE: Slavery by Consent -The UNITED STATES CORPORATION
America follows English common law.

This is good as any explanation.

Fee Simple : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fee_simple

In English law, a fee simple (or fee simple absolute) is an estate in land, a form of freehold ownership. It is the way that real estate is owned in common law countries, and is the highest ownership interest possible that can be had in real property. Allodial title is reserved to governments under a civil law structure. Fee simple ownership represents an ownership interest in real property, though it is limited by government powers of taxation, eminent domain, police power, and escheat, and it could also be limited further by certain encumbrances or conditions in the deed.[citation needed] Fee simple ownership interest may be limited by government powers through a shift from allodial title to fee simple, such as when uniting with other property owners acceding to zoning restrictions and municipal regulation.

http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionar...fee+simple

The greatest possible estate in land, wherein the owner has the right to use it, exclusively possess it, commit waste upon it, dispose of it by deed or will, and take its fruits. A fee simple represents absolute ownership of land, and therefore the owner may do whatever he or she chooses with the land. If an owner of a fee simple dies intestate, the land will descend to the heirs.
The term fee used independently is an adequate designation of this type of estate in land. The term simple is added to distinguish clearly this estate from other interests in real property.
In English common law, the Crown has radical title or the allodium of all land in England, meaning that it is the ultimate "owner" of all land. However, the Crown can grant ownership in an abstract entity—called an estate in land—which is what is owned rather than the land it represents. The fee simple estate is also called "estate in fee simple" or "fee-simple title", and sometimes simply "freehold" in England and Wales. From the start of the Norman period, when feudalism was introduced to England, the tenant or "holder" of a fief could not alienate (sell) it from the possession of his overlord. However, a tenant could separate a parcel of the land and grant it as a subordinate fief to his own sub-tenant, a process known as sub-enfeoffing or "subinfeudation". The 1290 Statute of Quia Emptores abolished subinfeudation and instead allowed the sale of fee simple estates.[1]

RE: Slavery by Consent -The UNITED STATES CORPORATION
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_city_states

The poleis -
the ancient Greek city-states formed a political entity ruled by its body of citizens.

Dwellers in the polis were generally divided into four types of inhabitants, with status typically determined by birth:

1. Citizens with full legal and political rights, i.e. adult free men born legitimately of citizen parents. They had the right to vote, be elected into office, bear arms, and the obligation to serve when at war.

2. Citizens without formal political rights, but full legal rights: the citizens' female relatives and underage children, whose political rights and interests were represented, and property held in trust, by their adult male relatives.

3. Citizens of other poleis, who chose to reside elsewhere, (the metics, μέτοικοι, métoikoi, literally "transdwellers"): though free-born and possessing full rights in their place of origin, had full legal rights but no political rights (Office Holder of the State/City) in their place of residence (Business/Commerce/Traffic). Metics could not vote, could not be elected to office, could not bear arms and could not serve in war. They otherwise had full personal and property rights, albeit subject to taxation.

4. Slaves: chattel in full possession of their owner, and with no privileges other than what their owner would grant (or revoke) at will.

Which of the above would you choose to represent?
