I voted for Ron in the primary, and since then, it's just been Popcorn

regarding events leading up to Tampa.

But if Ron "unites the party" behind Robamney, I was curious:

Do you intend to keep fighting,

Do you see any other potential candidates for POTUS who could be drafted to run Independent?

Were you 100% with the RP platform to begin with, and if not, what would you add/dump?

I'm just going to "Write In" Ron Paul on the ballot. If everyone does it, they have to count the votes.

I have been smelling a rat for months. Romney was his biggest competition yet he never would attack him.

There is no place to turn as far as a political solution. The game is 100% rigged.

I'm not really wanting to get into that in this thread, we've done a lot of that.

And maybe this is too divisive, but I was never on board with everything Ron regards as good public policy.

I was perfectly content to give him carte blanche, but if he decides or decided he doesn't want to lead this thing, basically I'd dump Mises/ Rothbard.

I don't want to start a bunch of debate/division regarding that type stuff, but if we drafted Jesse Ventura, I think he'd be inclined to take it a different direction than the Libertarian party line.

Mostly just curious if people have thoughts like that, or are they firmly in an Alex Jones version of what needs to be done, or a Paul version, etc.

I think we all agree regarding the constitution and the FED, and aggressive wars.

But are we all Gold Standard etc.

Ron admires Taft, do you?

That kind of thing.

Maybe it's divisive, I'm not here to push my agenda, everybody who reads my stuff should be familiar with it. Just curious how people diverge.

Will Sarah Palin Run 3rd Party if Dr. Paul does not?

Because you know IF Sarah Palin decieds to simply just announce she is running, it's all over for everyone else. It will be like, Romney who?

And seriously, the RP Fanatics are not the Sarah Palin Supporters who may well willing to pull the voting switch for Mr. Romney, as they are hard core conservatives, and member zero amoung them of the Obama supporters.

It's a math thing.

I'm not 100% with Ron's policies either but I like about 95% of what he has to say about what needs doing.

For me it wasn't about the Doc. It was about what he was saying. He's the only candidate from any party that had a clear voting record and steady message of liberty thus I supported him in his bid for POTUS.

How he plays his cards from here will determine if he's still relevant to the liberty movement.

A clear and indisputable message saying he's in it to win it would be a good start. Being a little less than polite at the convention in Tampa would be good also. If he doesn't get the nomination then it's a perfect platform to announce his starting a new party or third party run.

I'm going to keep on fighting for liberty. Whether Ron is part of that is up to him. I can't think of any other candidate for POTUS off the top of my head and we may just have to write off that position for this election cycle. Keep working locally and at the state level.

Openly counted paper ballots with the entire proceedings web cast and videoed from multiple angles. Get rid of any vote counting machines that are not verifiable. It's the start of everything. You have to know for a fact that who is in office is the person who was elected to be there and you can't do that with the easily hacked machines or with secret ballot counting.

Who's making up the rules? GOP or Paul campaign?

Oh, this is GOP all the way. You also have to ride their bus from the hotel to the convention center. I am not bound to Paul, which is another thorn in my side but hey, what can you do.

I was told I had to rent a dorm room at one University I attended. All freshmen had to.

But I had already rented a house.

I don't think they can enforce your accommodations or transportation.

I think that would be a good topic to put up at Daily Paul.

Maybe a lawyer would opine there.(at DP)

I wouldn't want to go there and not be let in, but that's sounding pretty sketchy.

Here are the hotel assignments. Each state delegation MUST stay at the hotel they are assigned to, and rates are much higher during this time.

Having fun?

It's real simple, somebody started a "progressive/libertarian" thread, and I was starting to hog it, when actually my question is this:

If YOU took leadership of the Campaign for Liberty, what would the redesign look like?

I have the same answer for the redesign of pretty much anything social, political or infrastructural.

Convention organizers reserved 16,000 rooms at approximately 100 hotels in the Tampa Bay area. Official delegations from 50 states, the District of Columbia and five U.S. territories will be housed in 36 hotels. The remaining hotels will accommodate other convention visitors, including media representatives and Republican Party officials...

I'm not a Daily Paul Member, but somebody should start a discussion over there. Maybe here too.

What a bunch of pig control freaks. They bought out the whole town. How many delegates and alternates are there? 2286 plus bonus delegates:

and they bought out 16000 rooms.

How much are they charging you to go?

I am not sure yet. I am supposed to get a packet in the mail soon. My leader insinuated around 300 a night, but that is only a rumor at this point. I will let you know. It might be lower, one would think with all that traffic it would be. Heartflowers
