Get food stamps. I hate having it but it helps.

But I need gas money to look for work, so it's craigslist time again.

I told myself if I ever got really hungry I know an excellent place to spotlight a deer. Never done it though. Ever seen a deer's eyes at night in the woods? Damn, they're spooky.

Beans are a pain because they take so long to cook, but not if you have a pressure cooker.

Just passing a tip. You don't have to soak them first(though they may be more nutritious if you do).

I'm burned out on beans. Did a three month stint last fall, and it wasn't healthy, but going to get the garden in this weekend.

There are jobs here, I'm just trying to find one in my chosen field. I should have taken something part time to pay for gasoline though.

When I'm gassed up again, I think I'll do that first next.

It's hard to find a job when you are working full time, but part time is something I hadn't considered much. I think that may be the best thing to do next.

Ask friends for help. I had a friend in this situation temporarily and cleaned out my cupboards of things we prob would not eat anyhow which gave her a few bags if groceries, plus did some super coupon shopping for her. Gave her a gas card. She made it through the tough times and is in a better situation now.

If you live close by to a grocery store...go dumpster-diving. Wear pants and have a flashlight. I don't really recommend it, but it beats going hungry at night.My dad it
for years and us kids turned out ok. Not saying its safe, but you gotta do,
what you gotta do in the end to feed the family. Food stamps go only so far and these stupid grocery stores throw away tons of food daily.
