Don't believe what you see on the teevee.The teevee painted Katrina in a specific light, for reasons that people like seeing human misery (reality tv anyone?)

If you speak to people who were there, other things come to light. Human goodness. Neighbors helping one another.

NO....BUT THE SITUATION SEEMS TO BE A GIANT PILE OF LOGS, TRY HAY AND LEAVES, SOAKED WITH GAS.... AND THERES HUGE ANGRY HUFFIN PUFFIN LADY WITH A TORCH RUNNING STRAIGHT FOR PILE... it'll be interesting to see what happens... she'll either trip, fall, and drop the torch in the water... diligently march straight for the pile and ignite with success, or....make it to the pile, put the torch to it... and still cant work up enough wit to ignite the fires....

THESE INCIDENTS LASTED LESS THAN 24 HOURS AND ASIDE FROM THE POWER BEING OUT WERE EXPERIENCING NORMAL CONDITIONS.... THIS HAS THE POTENTIAL FOR WIDESPREAD POWER OUTAGES LASTING FOR A A FEW DAYS UP TO A WEEK -- THIS HAS BEEN SAID WITH INTENSITY ALL DAY ON TWC -- what do you think your little statistics read will project if you incorporate the new variables? of longer duration and affected power customers? run those numbers for me...
