We're thinking she got it as a gift for watching the octogenarians across the street and re-gifted to her granddaughter. Now to preface everything no she's not poor nor is she a Moran. She's just that selfish and we'll thank her for the butterball turkey for tgiving.

Kids like to be able to shop, even if it is just at a Safeway. I think you need to be less petty yourself and let your daughter enjoy the card and getting whatever she finds there.

I appreciate what you're saying but she's not 3, she's 10 and goes grocery shopping with us every weekend. I guess I need to say my mil is a selfish Moran x 1000.

..And if she doesn't enjoy buying anything from there, use the card to show her the virtues of giving and buy food for some poor people.
Or just trade in your money for it so she can buy what she wants and you just buy groceries with it.

If you go shopping at Safeway you can use her card and then give her the money you save from it and be out nothing.

This is a woman that burned through her savings as well as current money, filed bk twice, moved in with her mom and too over. Gets contract jobs makes 8k in 3 mos and remodels her moms house around her and bitches about her own mom so.

I do appreciate all the comments but I should have shed more light on the situation. This is a very selfish person.

Well since I play ice hockey not fish ok...but my daughter and son both once a month put their toys and clothes together and we donate. So what hole were you trying to pigeon me in to? Cheer
