The Sun and Moon in alignment set up tides on BOTH sides of earth. These quakes ocurred 12 hours before the eclipse starts. Other than that it's wild speculation.

Japan has earthquakes very frequently, and always has.

Through media hysteria, people have been lead to believe that there frequency is increasing.

Yep.. Used to live in Kamisaya, Misawa and Yokosuka.. One day on my way home from school in Misawa, the ground shook so bad I landed on my face on the concrete.. Jumped up as fast as I could, ran home to find everything all over the floor..

Well where I live we usually have a decent one every 5 or so years and a real good one every 10 or so.

We now gone 20 with out a decent shake. doomed

I would think there is more connection to the fukushima quake event than to you theory.

Just saying. Large quakes are usually followed by several years of activity.
