I saw a snow-capped mountain (there are none near me) and along the ridge the mountain was splitting open. Like a zipper. Just sharing. Not claiming this "will" happen. But if it does...

Mountains are a collective metaphor for nations/kingdoms/empires (masses of the earth lifted up in a heirarchal shape to represent government to the conscious mind)...
You're seeing what is happening now--these things are not usually 'literal' but imaginative impressions are like dreams which are influenced by the collective unconscious... It's just like a movie... it has a meaning but it's not usually literal or 'right out front'... It's "occult" or hidden in metaphor... it's a weird phenomena to be sure.
i like your thoughts on this
and they are as valid as any other interpretation
the subconscious isn't exactly predictable and we need to think outside the box when we're trying to understand its messages
thank you
lol cooter
i never read anything past your first post in any thread and seldom read all of that
i have no idea what you're rambling about as i just scrolled over it all as so much of what you type is irrelevant in so many ways that it's just not worth the time
just thought i'd let you know because if you're typing to me you're wasting finger energy that might be used in more constructive ways and might want to move on to greener pastures in other threads where another op might care what you have to say
i don't mean this is a rude way, it's just the truth having read enough of your posts over the years
one day i just opted to quit

CooterBrown Wrote:David Wrote:Imagination can occur unintentionally during meditation and is often precognitive IMO.
Thoughts occur all the time ... whether in mediation or not ... but
the point of mediation is to notice the arising of such Prana energies,
which are infinite ... and transcend them ... by noticing that you
are noticing, so to speak ... and then return to watching ... or the
breath ... or listening ... or whatever device one uses to return
to watching -- i.e., simply resting in, and being, open awareness,
which as sentient beings is our fundamental quintessence.
Imagination is definitely cognitive; a part of Thinking Mind. Whereas
the point of meditation is to rest in, and identify with, Awareness Mind.

Noun:
The faculty or action of forming new ideas, or images or concepts of
external objects not present to the senses: "a vivid imagination". The
ability of the mind to be creative or resourceful.

Sometimes a mountain splitting open is just a mountain splitting open.

water=consiousness, oftentimes a collective consciousness
snow?=frozen water is said to be purified
mountains=hierarchies, as has been stated, but most supposed etheric cities are in mountains, higher consciousness people tend to go to mountains for enlightenment, guidance, higher power peaks
hot=definitely not lukewarm, if you get what i mean
opening=opening
in order for higher consciousness to come about there must be a reckoning and destruction of the current model
i'd say you already got your message ey ;)

I perceive salt water (seas, oceans) to be masses of people, ideas, information, and emotions which, all gathered together in one place, is bitter, not suitable for cleansing, but can add 'flavor' to other sources of information (food and drink) as well as preserve information for long periods of time.
rivers/streams = streams of information and spiritual disciplines suitable for drinking and cleansing--springs are the sources of the streams. lakes are places where blessings (rain) collect into ideas and disciplines which are suitable for drinking and cleansing... Climate/Geology is also very important and starts getting even crazier when you think of man (individual and collective) as the earth and each individual having his own ecosystem within him full of plants and animals and even 'humans' building cities and warring with each other over dominance of your 'soul'...
