RE: Spoon bending.
Most of us are prisoners of the rational part of our minds, the reptilian part some people claim.
This part of our mind is locked onto the reality program and is deeply tied to our subconscious mind, the part that does not question it just processes.

So how do we break the hold this part has on our minds?

Well some people who are less than scrupulous [or outright evil] break the minds of their children by Satanic ritual abuse.
Military experiments have used similar processes to access the minds of people and tap into altered states of mind. Fort Bragg is one such training center.

Once a person has had their hold on reality broken then they are programed [if they are salvageable] this is not the only way to access a persons control of reality around them.

Many rituals involve "rationalizing" these abilities so as to gain access to the subconscious belief centers.

Is this supposed to be some big secret?
Hell yes!

High level Freemasons and users of speculative and practical witchcraft do not want you to be able to influence people like they do, then they would become ordinary.

Many people have no idea when they are being mentally manipulated by others.
I have seen in my home town the high up Freemasons influence people and make them submit and be subservient to them.

The majority of people have no idea and they are discouraged from believing in such things.

The secret knowledge of the Freemasons and mystery schools of knowledge, what did you think it was they didn't want you to know?
If you knew then they would no longer be able to have power and influence over people so easily.

Almost every single person in the high up power structure of the world is involved in the occult.
Now you know why and you know why they try and keep secrets from you the common person.
Anything they can do you can do.

I find it interesting with the feeling of 'mundane' - there is sacredness in the mundane, is it the 'grass is greener' mindset that fools us into thinking we must 'attain', when in reality we have it all anyway? And only our mind is the impediment - if we entertain a thought, then that thought can manifest. We have faith[however fleeting] that something is possible. Mind Manifests Matter.

I agree totally. I have seen and experienced too many things not to believe that.

I have tried to plumb this reality and measure its limits and mine as much as possible.

I wouldn't say I know it all by any means I just have theories that work to some extent and I am always interested to see if other people have had similar experiences.

My brother suggested a couple of weeks ago that the mind is what holds us back, when we don't think about things and just do them it always seems to work.

Your bro's quite Zen isn't he! Heartflowers
Well if we're not thinking, it doesn't occur to us that something is not possible, therefore making it possible!
I think [lol!] that we give too much control to our conscience/monkey mind/ego when the subconscious is the real worker. Personally, I can't think when it comes to creating art & gardens - it f*cks up if I do.

And as you'd know, giving power over to the subconscious does not mean we're catatonic or unconscious - quite the opposite! It's hyper-real chuckle

RE: Spoon bending.
They say anyone can do it. (but there's always a few who can't at any given workshop) It's a great trick to open one's mind to possibilities. It's akin to walking on fire. It helps free one of their belief systems.

My favorite trick is to put my hand over a glass of cheap wine and transform it into a much better wine. If only I could turn water into wine. That would be impressive! Imagine all the friends Gramps would make at the nursing home with that skill.
