That was my understanding. It's based on some forged suspect document called the orion wars. I don't know if it's true or not, "Yota" is apparently one of the hidden masonic masters so...might be at least based on fact.

I really hate to do this to one of my all time fav epic tales of good and evil and cool light sabres and lasers and space battles and pod races and speeder-bikes and such, but now as I rewatch I see that it is just a microcosm of the illuminati handbook acted out on the silver screen. I mean really, it's got it all:

First and foremost, you have the chancellor Palpatine aka Darth Sidious aka The Emperor who, as it is revealed in the 3rd installment of the prequels, is actually playing both sides of the fence to create an entire separatist movement just to create a war that would require creation of the "clone" army. A move the Jedi would never have sanctioned, as they were there for the protection of peace without the need for an army.

Ultimately the creation of the army is created under the guise of protecting the "Republic" and safeguarding democracy, while in actuality it becomes a tool of oppression that latter will be transformed into the Imperial Army of the Dark Empire. Sound familiar to anyone? People playing both sides of the fence on a created conflict to gain both money and power simultaneously weakening the power and resolve of autonomous nations in order to install their rule?

Anyone notice how the Galactic Senate is coincidentally so similar to the UN? And those not in accordance with this entity are deemed a separatist threat, and war is declared upon these nasty Arab Middle-East Countries err I mean radical galactic separatists. I just can't stop drawing all these parallels. And I am sure there are many many more out there, but I will be surprised if anyone reads this wall of words anyway so that is good.

Hopefully Hard Truth will chime in here, I think it was him or maybe someone else that also pointed out how the Jedi are basically like the Magi and Druids of ancient history dating back to Egypt (well as a major point of historical recognition) and stemming from Stone Henge and possibly even earlier times of antiquity lost through the ages.

Just amazing how these people will tell their tale right in our faces over and over and laugh about while they own everything and work to make the world a grey place.

Funny thing is that most movies tell the same story over and over. Just different settings, different perspectives, but it's all the same story.
