I'm not so sure about the Stellarium telling him it is a particular star, unless it will show what the sky would look like if the sun was darkened. Stars out at night won't be in the same place during the day.

Venus can be visible in the daytime if you know where to look. I have photos of daytime Venus images.

The ISS is occasionally visible in the daytime, too, but it is moving at a fast clip so the vid discounts that explanation.

So the simplest explanation is Venus, although something manmade can certainly be suspect.

I am simply amazed that you think I am lying. That is OK. I don't consider your opinion of my opinion of any worth either, so we are even.

So I don't know if you think that I am lying about Venus being seen in the daytime, or if stars move their position as the 24 hours progress.

I'll give you some references if you like about Venus visible in daytime (I doubt you'll believe them, either) but as far as the stars moving...I'll leave that for you to investigate. High school science should have taught you that one, at any rate.
