RE: Stars seen during day time ?
some one somewhere else has been going on about this this morning. my guess is it is a ufo parked up there. i've seen them at night and they look like that only brighter. shouldn't be a big deal in this day and age.

If you have an Android with GPS and Compass, you can use the program Google Sky Map to see what it is.

I'm not so sure about the Stellarium telling him it is a particular star, unless it will show what the sky would look like if the sun was darkened. Stars out at night won't be in the same place during the day.

Venus can be visible in the daytime if you know where to look. I have photos of daytime Venus images.

The ISS is occasionally visible in the daytime, too, but it is moving at a fast clip so the vid discounts that explanation.

So the simplest explanation is Venus, although something manmade can certainly be suspect.

It's simply amazing how many armchair everything expert shills there are on this board. You in particular, I don't consider your opinion on anything to be valid.

My stars, but you're a simple pimple.

Listen to the Lady, she's a clever one.
