Seems like he's been saying stuff like this a lot lately. I for one am of the camp that would like to believe that the universe is no accident, though no fanatic. Start thinking about other famous physicists, of course, and the first name you will probably think of is Einstein. He was convinced of life after death!

Think of how hard it must be to be Hawking. That brilliant mind in that body. Amazing that he has been able to do what he has done despite his physical limitations, but I imagine it might make someone a bit bitter.

I hope he's wrong, and for what it's worth, God bless him! I hope he gets a chance to discuss the universe with the real expert...

That body might keep him focused where as other scientists keep getting sucked into black holes.
