Damn, so I guess this means he wont be at the GOP state convention this weekend.
I worked with a journalist who played on his daughter's soccer team and she said he would be so belligerent to the refs if he wasn't half drunk and he would always yammer on about how he could buy them if he wanted.

Which is one of the reasons that he gets no media coverage...and probably why he is losing his shirt with his radio stations. Shitty indeed.

Smilin Eyes Wrote:WhenWillitEnd Wrote:Government ruins everything and created our economic problems through fascist policies (corporate and state power in bed together).
Look at Monsanto.. how do they f*ck the small farms? Through US Patents..
Government f*cking sucks. As soon as you retards develope a moral compass and take some responsibility for yourself we can live in Anarchist Utopia (or at least by the US Constitution).. until then, keep getting raped in your poor little bungholes by fascist government officials and their corporate buddies.
Corporations go to the government because the government can use FORCE. They can force you to eat your own shit if they wanted.
Libtards.. idiots.. thinking the government that caused these problems will solve it.. USE YOUR BRAIN (what is left of it)
If we truly lived in a free-market we would not have these problems. Instead we will in a Corporatocracy with little idiots running around trying to feed it more power.
Damn
Not really, cos are conservatives pulling their accounts at the big banks, are they not buying gas from BP, are they looking at what products come from Monsanto and stop buying them?
No they don't. So even without the government, the 'bad' corporations will continue. The conservative movement is not about fixing America, it is about creating attack dogs to attack those who want to put pressure on big corporations.

Batta bing.
You're a pair of economic illiterates whose opinions are formed by DNC talking points and appeals to baser emotions by the progressive statists.

So what do libtards do? Listen for marching orders from the DNC and Hollywood, and parrot the same emotional class-envy bullshit while fueling the very engine of destruction they worship: The state.
Progressivism isn't about freedom, prosperity, or equality.
It's about establishing a perfect, indestructible cleptocracy with its elite, otherwise-powerless proponents in charge of the thieving.

Uhm, if we do not consider the bailouts. Cos those trillions where gone the moment he took office. Those trillions should have never been in the system really. Than he is not wasteful.
Most of those so called bailouts were actually loans and most have been paid back.
The government actually refused to take back money from some banks that wanted to pay back their loans early to get out from under the rules that came with the loans.
You want to know what bailout/stimulus money won't be repaid?
The billions handed out to the so called poor in addition to all the other tax credits and welfare they get.

RE: Stephen King tells rich people upset over tax increases: ‘Tough s**t’
What a moron!
The only reason wealthy people own money losing businesses is because they think they can turn them around and make them profitable or for the tax writeoff.
Does he keep all his money in a matress?
f*ck no! Its invested somewhere and where its invested might just be providing jobs that might not otherwise exist.
Just because he isn't hiring doesn't mean the businesses he invests in didn't.
The guy doesn't understand money.
If he feels guilty he should get rid of the money loosing businesses he owns and let someone who can make money with them take a crack at growing them so more people can have jobs.
Then he can take all that money he is loosing and WRITE A f*cking CHECK TO THE GOVERNMENT!
Maybe then he won't feel so guilty and will keep his yap shut about something he knows very little about.

LooneyBin Wrote:iceni6 Wrote:LooneyBin Wrote:Nope...I'm a business owner and a capitalist. Mr. King is using a hypothetical scenario that means jack shit. His businesses are losing money. What he "supposes" he "may" do if he were making money on the businesses is irrelevant. The only thing that matters is that his business is losing money which puts him in a position where all he can do is blow hot smoke up your ass and have you eat it up like a complete fool.
Business owners want to make money. I hire a worker if he or she can make me $50,000 over the course of the year. It's simple economics. I stop hiring once my return on investment lowers to a point where I know longer want to take on the increased costs.
Here is the solution for Mr. King. Write some more books because it's obvious he sucks at running radio stations. Above all else, stop talking for the rest of society while projecting your greedy self on others.
ok, so he might not be very good at business, but you are very good at this plantation thing.
How am I good at this plantation thing? How do you know what I pay my employees? A sales rep for me can make $80,000. Sure I'll make $30,000, but he made $80,000.
Business owners don't just make money off employees. I enjoy a good life because of my company, the services it provides, and the employees helping to make it what it is. My employees enjoy a good life because they can make good money selling my product and service which allows them to support their family.
I could make more money tomorrow by dumping 25% of my sales staff and taking on most of the account renewals, but I don't because I give a shit.
99.99% of business owners are not billionaires or worth $100,000,000. We are honest, hard-working business owners that give a shit.
It's people like Buffett that run around telling us we should get taxed more while doing the exact opposite that are trash.
Well said, I'm in the same postion business owner/job provider and I'm growing tired of the 49%'ers complaining and wanting more and more handouts...
If moving "Forward" or overhauling the system means more government, I say no thanks...
I wouldn't waste your time trying to have an intelligent conversation with the 49% OWS type, they will not change...
Back to work now there are a lot of folks counting on my tax dollars...

Really? So I'm to believe that the *liberals* are the ones who are robbing the poor to give to the rich?! I think you better check your math. You have failed the reality portion of this test. Pro-corp bullshit to keep feeding the rich, and making people, like myself, pay the lion's share of the taxes. Until they pay a larger percentage than I do, then they are f*cking the rest of us. If the tax scale goes up the more that you make, then why are the 8% above me in the "food chain" paying FAR FAR less in taxes? f*ck them and their criminal cabal of bankster politicians.

You are a typical libtard. Absolutely convinced that the lies you've swallowed whole are truth, and unable to learn anything because you're too gawdamned stupid AND pompous to let an actual fact leak in.
Myth – The Rich Don’t Pay Their Fair Share
http://constitutionalconservative.wordpr...air-share/
Perhaps one of the most common myths (or lies, depending on how you look at at it), is the idea the “rich don’t pay their fair share”. But is this true? Various groups drag out “studies” to prove their point, but are they correct? Instead of using biased “studies” (from any group), why not simply go to the source? The Federal Government published a CBO Paper in August 2004 titled Effective Federal Tax Rates Under Current Law, 2001-2014. On Table 2 (page 18 of the PDF) “Effective Federal Tax Rates” under “Share of Total Federal Tax Liabilities” heading shows some interesting results.
Taxes paid by highest incomes
The top 1% pay 22.7% of taxes.
The top 10% pay 50% of taxes.
The top 20% pay 65.3% of taxes.
The top 40% pay 84.3% of taxes.
Taxes paid by lowest incomes
The bottom 20% pay 1.1% of taxes.
The bottom 40% pay 6.1% of taxes.
You poor motherfuckers are a gawdamned drain on us all, including yourselves. I wish you'd just die off instead of complaining how unfortunate you were to be born stupid and lazy, and how you hate those of us who weren't.

Ebenezer: Are there no prisons?
First Collector: Plenty of prisons.
Ebenezer: And the union workhouses - are they still in operation?
First Collector: They are. I wish I could say they were not.
Ebenezer: Oh, from what you said at first I was afraid that something had happened to stop them in their useful course. I'm very glad to hear it.
