The Cock & Bull Staff Welcomes You and Our New Security Chief!!



DaJavoo ~ Proprietor, kilt wearing Scot and barkeep.

Ishtahota ~ All around Right-Hand Man and Editor of the Newspaper.

Chief Snowglobe ~ Master of Arms and head of Internal Security.

The Krugers ~ Gnomes captured in the Battle of Up Shit's Creek. Co-opted by Snowglobe to serve as her security team and errand gnomes, or K.I.L.T. ~ the Kruger Intervention and Logistics Team. Shorty, the infamous “T” remains in the Dungeon.

Stogie ~ Our Madam of Honor and creator of the C&B Family Photo Album.

Bessie ~ Jack Hammer's loyal side-kick, which she aims at trolls.

Daj Jr. & Rocky Kitteh Keeper are apt to turn up most anywhere.

The C&B doesn't often add a staff member ~ we can't afford it frankly, as the pay is virtual as well. However, a recent patron uprising brought the need to light for an official internal security position. The external threats are well handled by our patrons ~ most of whom belong to the Professional Division of the Troll Eating Championship League. Trolls are the spice of any forum diet and we usually make a feast of them. However, recent weekends have brought after-hours marauding in the form of trashing the tavern by some patrons; lovable but misguided in their choice of fun. There is only so much Remy Martin and Cohibas I can offer Stogie to continue helping clean this place!!

Of course, adding a new staff member is never without difficulties. There are expectations to manage and personalities to blend into a harmonious new team. Snowglobe's first day on the job was memorable ~ to say the least. While she had the internal security part down perhaps a little too firmly, < 50 cal sniper rifles and chainsaws are a tad overboard > her expectation regarding proper duty attire was entirely outta' the ballpark.

TRASH PARTY STORY

Daj always leaves the tavern open for late arrivals on a self-serve basis. One night, something strange occurred ~ a couple of patrons decided to trash the place. Granted, a virtual tavern suffers no harm ~ and the C&B is all about blowing off stress. But, ya' know? Daj was still a bit insulted that anyone who had been welcomed and served their favorite beverage (no small task as the patron used a nickname for the brew and couldn't spell, either) would abuse and virtually trash a place so many called home. The first time, it was funny. The second time, it was taken as the finger.

Good Evening and Welcome to the Cock & Bull Tavern!

Chief Snowglobe has been busy getting her KILT Team (Kruger Intervention & Logistic Tactics) into operational readiness ~ with the help of the Backbar Gang. Molson is deadly with an axe and Jack Hammer and Maddawg are teaching them the fine art of firearms ~ but it will probably be a while before we let the Krugers run around with loaded weapons. We're having a difficult time finding tiny long-arms for them.

Och! When we fought the Battle of Up Shit's Creek and captured the GLP gnomes, we never expected they would turn out to be such handy little fellers. The Stockholm Syndrome is a bonnie thing to behold and they seem to thrive on their diets of pickled eggs and ginger ale (neither of which our patrons consume, and we tell them the ginger ale is beer...) or perhaps it's the womanly touch, but they are losing their drab, black color and morphing into colorful wee buggers, much to the delight of the Chief.

So, dinna be frightened if you see them coming and going about their business ~ they are wonderfully quick about fetching beverages if needed and they are learning to handle trolls, under the tutelage of our patron Pro Troll Eating Champs.
