for some reason i believe this, but god help the scum who try to fight the masses. there are more regular joes on this planet than there are elitist pricks, and we arn't gunna just lay down and take it. i don't necessarily care about gas or bullets during the doomocalypse, but i sure as hell care about my loved ones, and my fellows at the bottom, and will strive to do my part for humanity when tshtf if it ever does. until then, i will live my life as normal.

Seriously? I've seen that 19 to 29% will make it. I have actually seen it, but I've also seen that we are moving up into a sister dimension. I don't think anyone knows for certain what will actually happen, but I do think the sun will play a major part. It has to, because i saw people walking. I hope my children don't have to survive it.

Kansas - Nebraska safe zones or safer then other zones because of all the grain grown in them parts.

That's the way in a lot of fiction stuff starting with an EMP hit starting novel the one by Wm. Forstchen "One Second After". Corn states a better places to be in a number of lesser know zombie and sun energy bust ones. And don't forget when everything stops working including steam engins, guns and flashlights "Emberverse" series by S. M. Stirling. But not so good places to be in the 80's nuke war movie "The Day After" cause of the missile bases targeted there.

Me? My safe zone is right under my apartment building in the ratsey old basement. Someone might have even been inspired by my net rants about it from years back? Na just another great mind thinking along the same mean streets.

Troubling Facts to this conversation:

1 - OP is a writer and misspells Gnostic
2 - OP joined in March of 2012...but claims to have been here awhile (2009?). This could be true but seems like they would have joined a long time ago. How do we know OP is credible.
3 - Who gives away 80% of something this big but doesn't deliver the goods. This kind of info would be all or none. Why drag it out, it's more risk to spread it over several conversations than to just dump it out once.
4 - It's written kind of dramatically...agree with Sireen that this is a part of the book for which OP is testing the quality of writing. I do have to say "nice job"

Slow work day so I'll address some issues. My book is not about Gnostic so spelling wasn't important to me. I mentioned the book because he confirmed things I had found while researching for my book. (like LOP!) He is ALWAYS talking in riddles and metaphors. I recently had a text message conversation and asked directly but he answered with quotes from Philosophers and in FRENCH, GERMAN, SPANISH AND LATIN! I'm tired of his games and told him so.
I don't remember the claim of being here that long but could be I meant I've been doing book research since 2009? I'll go back and check but I've been "lurking" here awhile before becoming a member.

My uncle belonged to one of those esoteric, "special groups" mentioned on page 1. He went from being very wealthy and being the top "producer" in his field for the entire U.S., had a beautiful historic home in a well known beach community in CA, to literally willing to throw it all away. He drank like a fish and just sort of seemed to say "f*ck it all" at some point in his life. Lost all his money, lost his home, lost his wife and just seemed to give up on everything. I always wondered what demons could have haunted him to make him stop caring. He drank and smoked himself into his grave, as if to say, "what the f*ck is left to live for? Maybe he too knew something and figured telling us wouldn't serve any purpose.
