Study: Monsanto’s Roundup causes “gluten intolerance”

“Here, we propose that glyphosate, the active ingredient in the herbicide, Roundup®, is the most important causal factor in this epidemic.

“Fish exposed to glyphosate develop digestive problems that are reminiscent of celiac disease. Celiac disease is associated with imbalances in gut bacteria that can be fully explained by the known effects of glyphosate on gut bacteria.

“Characteristics of celiac disease point to impairment in many cytochrome P450 enzymes, which are involved with detoxifying environmental toxins, activating vitamin D3, catabolizing vitamin A, and maintaining bile acid production and sulfate supplies to the gut.

“Glyphosate is known to inhibit cytochrome P450 enzymes. Deficiencies in iron, cobalt, molybdenum, copper, and other rare metals associated with celiac disease can be attributed to glyphosate’s strong ability to chelate these elements.

“Deficiencies in tryptophan, tyrosine, methionine, and selenomethionine associated with celiac disease match glyphosate’s known depletion of these amino acids.

“Celiac disease patients have an increased risk to non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which has also been implicated in glyphosate exposure.

“Reproductive issues associated with celiac disease, such as infertility, miscarriages, and birth defects, can also be explained by glyphosate.

“Glyphosate residues in wheat and other crops are likely increasing recently due to the growing practice of crop desiccation [drying] just prior to the harvest. We argue that the practice of “ripening” sugar cane with glyphosate may explain the recent surge in kidney failure among agricultural workers in Central America. We conclude with a plea to governments to reconsider policies regarding the safety of glyphosate residues in foods.”

This study could change the way gluten intolerance and celiac disease are understood, and it adds to the growing body of evidence against Monsanto’s Roundup and those GMO crops which require Roundup as the herbicide of choice.

Something seems to have changed in food in the last 5 years or so. Round up the schmucks that vetted the efficacy of "Roundup" and......?

to get rid of weeds and roots pour vinegar on top of them and then pour some salt.

1 gallon of vinegar, 1/4 cup of salt, 2 tablespoons dish soap.

Fill up a sprayer and spray directly on weeds. Make sure to protect the plants you want to keep.

One of my friends developed a serious allergy to gluten that almost kills him.

As a result he had to change his diet, and he is not about the healthiest human being I know. He runs marathons and shit now.

This is supposed to be a better recipe. She says you need vinegar with 10% acidity and to mix it with orange oil. You need gloves and goggles for this type of vinegar.

Study: Monsanto’s Roundup causes “gluten intolerance”
It seems my intolerance to gluten keeps getting worse and worse. and it's ridiculous that gluten-free food is so expensive. I'm not paying $10 for gluten-free pancake mix. Gluten also affects my mood and skin in a bad way, which I mainly notice when I stop eating gluten for a while and they eat it again. My symptoms from gluten:

*bloating, gas, general discomfort
*skin ailments flare up - rosacea and psoriasis
*dark circles under my eyes and face looks puffy, older
*insomnia, high-strung, heightened senses (for ex. I can hear sounds way in the distance that I wouldn't normally be aware of) It feels like I'm on some kind of 'upper' (funny, this is how I felt when I tried an anti-depressant yrs ago, which I refused to take after 1 try)
*anger, irritability, feel like punching a wall etc.

When I stop eating gluten:

*no more physical digestive discomfort
*skin ailments clear up
*I look at least ten yrs younger. dark circles go away and my face looks generally youthful and clear
*I feel calm, sleep well, more 'zen-like' which I feel is my true personality
*I don't get angry over things that make me angry when I'm on gluten

They're really f*cking us up with food people. Please stop eating this shit!

Study: Monsanto’s Roundup causes “gluten intolerance”
I started a thread in this study a couple of days ago.
I'll post the actual paper here, too. I will also add there has been some trash talking going on against those who did the study. The Examiner actually came out with bald face lies. Ine only has to dig a little to see the study is pretty legit - given all the piling evidence:

Cannot copy and paste from there, as it is a PDF, but there it is.

one more thing about the emotional effects of gluten - I googled around and came across several blogs where parents were saying that their kids no longer had ADHD when they went off gluten and they were able to stop being medicated. There's also the gluten-schizophrenia connection:

The corporatists perpetuated celiac disease so they could sell a $10 box of crackers to people as gluten free.

Back to growing our own like my folks did as a hobby in the 70's and 80's. It seemed to take a lot of my dad's time after work and on weekends? The food was great tasting but very seasonal. While your at it, you you might as well roll your own while waiting for your garden to grow, filters and all.......
