This reminds me of the story the devil and Tom walker, where a man makes a deal with old scratch and he openers a bank where it literally rapes the region of all of its riches! It made Tom a rich man and his city incredibly poor! However at the end old scratch comes for Tom and drags him off with his hell hounds, and all that was left in the safes were wood chips!

We can only hope for a similar end for these criminals!
