A hard pill to swallow? Really? The religious elite want to tell us that we have no rest in life and we will have no rest in death... Death is the deepest sleep you can possibly imagine =)

My heart stopped 3 times and I was in a coma for 12 days once... I had the full-on out of body experience and everything... But when I thought about it... the moment I had this experience was the moment they were shocking my heart with the paddles and forcefully pumping blood into my brain and thus causing my imagination to manifest all kinds of crazy shit, even being partially aware of what was going on... NDE's are just dreams...

MILLIONs say otherwise. Some have been dead for like 3 minutes but report HOURS of experience in another plane of existence.
MANY stories ALL saying the same things.....dead loved ones.....cities of light golden roads....funny thing is thats exactly what the bible says about the city of God.
I myself have had 2 OBEs....seemed pretty real to me.
I was wide awake both times.

um... I can have hours worth of dreams in 5 minutes of intense sleep... Millions can say and believe what they want and I can believe what I want... This is just my perspective... it's shared by many as well.

My history prof. Was talking about the epic of Gilgamesh and he said that the Sumerians didn't believe in the soul being eternal and that one of the survivors from the great deluge, I forget his name told Gilgamesh that only the gods can live forever and that the only way for us to attain eternal life is through are deeds!

Now this got me thinking that if the Sumerians didn't believe it why should I but of course I always have hope that there is something after death and we won't cease to exist cuz that would suck monkey balls lol.

Any spiritual masters with a phd in ancient history care to reassure me??
